Why Giving Back Matters at The Alice

When we opened The Alice, we envisioned more than a wedding venue. We wanted to create a gathering place, a space where people could come together to celebrate life’s biggest moments, build relationships, and strengthen our community.

That vision is what inspires our commitment to giving back.

This August, The Alice will host three fundraising events benefiting organizations that are making a meaningful difference right here in our community. On August 8, we will welcome supporters of The Ground Up, an organization dedicated to helping individuals and families build stronger futures. On August 9, we will support PAWS and the incredible work they do for animals in need. Then on August 28, we will host Wine & Fries benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities, whose mission provides comfort and care to families navigating some of life’s most difficult moments.

We are inviting the community to join us by purchasing tickets, becoming sponsors, or donating raffle items. Every contribution, large or small, helps these organizations continue their important work.

PAWS

While weddings are at the heart of our business, August tends to be a quieter season for celebrations. Rather than viewing that as downtime, we see it as an opportunity to focus on something equally important by serving our community.

At The Alice, we are committed to supporting local nonprofit organizations throughout the year by hosting monthly fundraising and awareness events. Last month, we were honored to welcome ASHA (Advanced Sacred Hope Academy), and seeing the community rally around such an important and meaningful cause reminded me why this work matters so much.

Our Ownership fully supports serving on fundraising committees and the volunteer efforts we make throughout our area. The causes closest to my personal heart are those that support animals, children, and individuals facing challenges. Whether it is finding homes for pets, helping families during times of crisis, or ensuring people have access to the educational resources they need, these efforts strengthen the fabric of our very community.

I genuinely believe that we all have a responsibility to help one another. These organizations are not serving strangers. They are serving our neighbors, our friends, our coworkers, and sometimes even our own families.

A healthy community is built on compassion, connection, and a willingness to step forward when help is needed. When local nonprofits succeed, our entire community benefits.

As we continue building The Alice as “The Gathering Place,” I hope you will join us this August in supporting these incredible organizations. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and ensure that the people and causes that need us most know they are not alone.
