Award-Winning and Moving Forward: West Florida NSDAR Charts a Bright Future

Founded in 2014, the West Florida Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (WFLDAR, NSDAR) was recently recognized by the Florida State Society for 2024 chapter and individual awards.  West Florida Chapter, NSDAR also earned the Gold Level on the Florida Honor Roll.  The 2023-2025 Regent, Teri Vice presented the above awards as well as chapter and individual awards to the officers and committee chairs for their service during the 2023-2025 term.

Honorary Regent Connie Lee formally installed the 2025-2027 board of directors, Robbie Carroll, Regent, Connie Hall, First Vice Regent, Diane Taliaferro, Second Vice Regent, Janice Ferguson, Chaplain, Dotty Caskey, Corresponding Secretary, Jeanne-Marie Stelter, Treasurer, Carole Kendy, Registrar, Renea Duck, Historian and Chris Keating, Librarian.

The West Florida Chapter, NSDAR represents over 146 members and serves the communities of Destin and Walton County to support the mission to promote historic preservation, education and patriotism.  The WFDAR, NSDAR generally meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 10:00 AM, Kelly Plantation Owner’s Clubhouse in Destin.
