Spotlight on 30A TV’s “Nothing Scripted”

30A Television has a new show aptly titled “Nothing Scripted,” featuring South Walton locals Wes Herndon and Paul Vizard as co-hosts. Every week they discuss anything, everything and nothing with guests from various backgrounds, lifestyles and vocations.

“Basically,” says Herndon, “we just hang out and talk about the things you might discuss with your friends over a beer or dinner. If it’s interesting to us, it’s fair game for the show.”

“Wes and I are great friends,” Vizard adds, “so the way we interact with one another on the show is raw and exactly how we interact with one another off camera. Nothing fake or scripted about it, hence the title.”

“With only seven episodes in the can,” says Paul, “the show has grown exponentially. It really is amazing how people from all over the country have chimed in during the broadcasts.”

The show has featured guests from all over the Emerald Coast with varying backgrounds. Past guests include Steve Ortner of Gulfwinds Paddle and Surf,  political talk show host Bernie Thompson, Amy Walsh of the Fore Her Breast Cancer charity, and Teance Blackburn, an actress known for stage and appearances on the popular Pop Culture show TMZ just to name a few. Topics explored range from the incorporation of South Walton, 3 legged chickens,  and what not to do on vacation here. Very entertaining!

After the success of the first 6 episodes, “Nothing Scripted” now airs on Thursdays at 6pm on 30A Television’s Facebook page.  Rebroadcasts can be seen on www.30a.tv, www.30alive.com Roku and Amazon Fire TV as well as  various other cable outlets throughout the Florida panhandle, Georgia and Alabama.

30A Television (www.30a.tv) was founded in 2007 to showcase locals, places and things of interest in the Northwest Florida Panhandle area. The network consists of cable, on demand and online broadcasting.  For more information call 1-877-302-8848 or email anyone@30a.tv.
