So many historic milestones are being reached in just year one of Destin High School’s existence. DHS has now become known for “doing things differently.” Just take a look at some of the happenings this spring…

DHS students recently set sail aboard the Sunquest Cruises Solaris Yacht at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort for their inaugural prom. How cool is that?
DHS’s Football team held its first ever Spring Practice May 2 in the Coach Green Era!
DHS’s inaugural Lady Shark Softball team is an inspiring story and Northwest Florida history in the making—they never give up!
Well known musician, Eddie Steadman, recently adjudicated DHS’s first ever Solo and Ensemble Festival. Band students, under the direction of Mrs. Noe, had their very first experience playing solos or ensembles live for a rating. Medals were awarded to 19 talented Sharks!
