More than $80,000 was raised at the second annual A Walk Down Magnolia Lane fundraiser on April 7 at the WaterColor LakeHouse in Santa Rosa Beach. Hosted by Embrace Florida Kids, the golf-themed soiree supports vulnerable children and families across Northwest Florida with homes, healing, and hope.
The Masters-inspired event featured themed cuisine, golf games with prizes, live music by Jacob Mohr, and signature cocktails. “There is a tremendous need in Northwest Florida, and events like this help close a critical gap,” said Blake Horne, Ph.D., Embrace Florida Kids president and CEO. “We’re especially grateful to our sponsors, community, staff, and volunteers for their support.”
Top sponsors included Good News Church (Nicklaus sponsor), Peaceful Family Oklahoma, and Shoreline Title. Additional support came from Hancock Whitney, Hill Coleman LLC, and others. “It was an honor to support Embrace Florida Kids’ vital work at such a creative and inspiring event,” said Mike Barcum, Chairman Emeritus of Peaceful Oklahoma.
