Destin Commons’ new interactive and three-dimensional vertical maze, the Luckey Climber is now open and available for children to enjoy. Located in the Destin Commons Center Plaza, Luckey Climber is a welcomed addition.
“We are excited to be reopening our play area and we thank all of you for your continued patience during our renovation. Luckey Climbers are not only wonderful for physical exercise, but they encourage problem solving. Destin Commons is first in the Panhandle to bring you this interactive play and we cannot wait to see children of all ages enjoying it,” says Brooke Zannis, Marketing Manager, Destin Commons.
Per the Luckey Climber website, “A Luckey Climber is a safe, interactive, three-dimensional vertical maze that defines public spaces, encourages physical activity, and offers the sort of imaginative play experience that is important for the intellectual development in children.”
The installation of Destin Commons’ Luckey Climber makes a total of only three Climbers in the state of Florida. Introduced in 1985, Lucky Climbers are for kids of all ages. The vertical maze offers more than physical play and has a positive effect on childhood development in areas such as: problem-solving, spatial thinking, balance, social interaction, and cooperation.
