For many people, the ideal physician knows them well, takes time to listen, and partners with them to achieve long-term health. That vision is at the heart of the new MDVIP-affiliated practice led by Dr. Chris Pappas and Dr. John Loudermilk, two highly respected family physicians who have served the Destin community since 2012 and 2021, respectively. They’re accepting new patients.
Located in the heart of Destin, we built the practice on a simple but powerful philosophy: healthcare should be personal, proactive and focused on prevention. We’re limiting our practice size so we can spend more time with each patient and provide individualized attention, which is difficult to achieve in a traditional primary care setting.
For Dr. John Loudermilk, helping people pursue lifelong wellness has always been a driving force in his medical career. His approach centers on building meaningful relationships with patients and understanding each person’s unique health goals.

Dr. Loudermilk has a special interest in adult and geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, sports medicine and chronic pain. He believes prevention should be the cornerstone of care, helping patients identify health risks early and take meaningful steps toward healthier, longer lives.
Dr. Chris Pappas brings a wealth of experience to the community, including board certifications in family medicine and primary care sports medicine, as well as service in the U.S. Army. His philosophy is rooted in restoring what he believes is the true essence of medicine: a compassionate relationship between doctor and patient.

Together, Drs. Pappas and Loudermilk are creating a practice environment where everyone can focus on wellness and disease prevention. As added conveniences, members enjoy unhurried same- or next-day appointments with minimal waiting. You can also reach the doctors after hours for urgent needs. Our goal is to provide a healthcare experience that is both highly personal and deeply responsive.
