100 Men Who Care – Emerald Coast recently exceeded $50,000 in donations supporting the needs of Okaloosa and Walton County nonprofits with its 2024 first quarter donation and its presentation of more than $7,800 to One Hopeful Place – a nonprofit meeting the needs of homeless people in our community. “It’s exciting to meet this milestone with our energized and conscientious cadre of community members, meeting the needs of our Walton and Okaloosa County neighbors,” said Scott Rude, founding member. “From our initial contribution to The C.A.L.M. House of Niceville in November 2021 to our most recent gift to One Hopeful Place, our members have demonstrated a dedication to the betterment of our community. We hope to hit $100,000 in 2025.”
Since its founding, 100 Men Who Care has additionally contributed to The Crossroads Center, A Bed 4 Me, Defenders of Freedom, Fresh Start for Children and Families, Healing Hoof Steps, Freedom Life Compass and Children in Crisis.
100 Men Who Care welcomes all community minded men wishing to make an impact on their neighbors of the Emerald Coast. “Our giving model is ideal for men who want to contribute to their community, but have limited time,” adds Scott. Interested men can reach the chapter by emailing Scott at 100mwcec@gmail.com, visiting the website; 100mwcec.com or messaging the group’s Facebook Page. The next quarterly chapter meeting will be held at the 3rd Planet Brewery on April 22 at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome!
