Go Boating. Destin is surrounded by water. With the Gulf of Mexico to the South and the Choctawhatchee Bay to the north, there is an abundance of waterways to explore. There are several boat rental companies in Destin that carry Pontoon to speed boats.
Enjoy Live Music at the Cultural Arts Village. If you’re a fan of live music, Destin delivers. In addition to Club LA, which offers concerts and shows, the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s Cultural Arts Village hosts a concert series on Thursday nights. Go Stand Up Paddling Boarding. Take dad on a calming, nature-based water experience. On a Stand Up Paddle Board, you all can paddle out in the Gulf to one of the new artificial reefs or paddle a peaceful coastal dune lake in the Bay.
