Honor Games Provide for Local Charities

Emerald Coast Honor Games founder, Sean Lynch recently presented $40,000 to local charities. The 2nd Annual Emerald Coast Honor games were held last November at Legendary Marine, Legendary Marina, Lulu’s Destin and Destin Middle School. This one-day event is open to the public, filled with an awareness walk for all ages and abilities, fitness competitions for all ages and levels, honor, community, fun, food and world class views.

Honor Games PANHANDLE RELIEF - ECHGDue to the devastation caused by Hurricane Michael in October 2018, Emerald Coast Honor Games decided to continue with the 2018 event and add hurricane relief to the cause.
Emerald Coast Honor Games presented checks to the following agencies:

• $10,000 to PanhandleRelief.Org, a Hurricane Michael Relief fund created through a collaboration of several regional business and civic organizations where funds, relief donations, and resources directly help those impacted by Hurricane Michael. Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida currently works with PanhandleRelief.Org to distribute assistance in rebuilding. To request assistance or to donate please go to www.panhandlerelief.org.

• $6,000 to Healing Paws for Warriors, Inc.
• $6,000 to Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office – Sheriff’s Star Charity
• $6,000 to Special Forces Association Chapter 7
• $6,000 to United States Air Force Combat Control
• $6,000 to Special Ops Survivors

The 3rd Annual Emerald Coast Honor Games will take place on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Legendary Marine, Legendary Marina, Lulu’s Destin, and Destin Middle School.
