Summertime presents opportunities for tasting new, fun, and different activities. It provides space for one to experiment and think outside their realm of knowledge and previous experiences. For many, summer has changed their lives in a positive direction, creating memories and momentum that leads to success in many other areas of life.
Every summer Studio 237 Music School presents a menu of musical offerings that one can taste in one week, for one hour daily (Monday through Friday), at half the price. It’s a prime opportunity to learn more about music, or a specific instrument, and simply relax as you enter a musical adventure.
This June, develop your musical taste buds at our Summer Music Program. If something interests you, give us a call at 850-231-3199 to schedule your camp time. We cater to ages 4 and older. Each camp costs $125.
Music Discovery Class: (Ages 4 to 6) Children have fun as they develop music appreciation by discovering musical terms, singing songs, note recognition, rhythm, classical composers, notation, instruments, and interpretive movement to classical music. We need 5 students to begin this class.
Drum Set Introduction: (Ages 6 and up) Students learn about tempo, playing the beat, and to ride the rhythm of the music on a drum set. Ray Cyr makes drumming a fun learning experience.
Piano/Keyboard Basics: (ages 7 and up) Get the feel of a typical piano lesson process while learning piano and theory basics. Includes a set of beginner books. Private lesson.
Guitar or Ukulele Basics (ages 8 +): So many people play guitar! Let us help you get started the right way by learning from a teacher.
Private Weekly Instruction: Continues to the end of June (once a week) by the lesson at $25 per half hour.
