Step into the magical world of artist George Rodrigue’s “Loup-garou,” or Blue Dog, at Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s (MKAF) Blue Dog & Bourbon on the Bayou. This special Artful Dining fundraising event, presented by Churchill Oaks and NTS Interiors by Marisol Gullo Interiors, will be held in the club house at Churchill Oaks in Santa Rosa Beach on Friday, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m. A limited number of seats are available. Wicked Triple Fun Run!

Runners…be a part of the Wicked Triple Fun Run 5K (5:30 p.m.), 10K (7:30 a.m.) and Half Marathon (7:30 a.m.) October 19-20 hosted by the Northwest Florida Track Club (NWFTC) and Run With It. The 10K runs through the neighborhoods surrounding downtown Fort Walton Beach starting and ending at Ferry Park on Hughes St. with awards ceremony immediately following. The 5K course will run along Beachview Dr. in Cinco Bayou, start line is across Eglin Parkway from AJ’s on the Bayou, with awards ceremony and after party immediately following. The Half Marathon starts and finishes at Ferry Park on Hughes St. with throw down immediately following. Food, drinks and live music! Cost is 10K $40, 5K $35, and Half Marathon $80 or all three for $145. Participants in all three races receive a finisher’s medal and a special edition long sleeve shirt!
