Lucky Goat Coffee is opening this September at City Market Beachside, bringing Tallahassee-roasted coffee, handcrafted drinks and warm hospitality to the Emerald Coast.
Local owners Tom and Koley Houle are excited to bring Lucky Goat to the community they now call home. After years of moving across multiple states for career opportunities, returning to their Florida roots was always the dream…and they look forward to creating something special here in Destin.
Lucky Goat began in Tallahassee in 2010 with one simple mission: make great coffee. What started as a wholesale roaster serving cafés across the Southeast has grown into a collection of welcoming coffee shops, while keeping quality at the heart of every cup. Coffee is roasted fresh throughout the week at Lucky Goat’s Tallahassee roastery.
The Destin café will serve classic espresso drinks, drip coffee, single-origin roasts and smooth nitro cold brew. Guests can try favorites like the Luckyccino, made with nitro cold brew, vanilla and cream, or the espresso-powered Goat Bomb. Signature lattes, chai, hand-whisked matcha, rotating seasonal drinks and pastries from local favorite Blue Mountain Bakery will round out the menu.
For Tom and Koley, this is about more than coffee. Their vision is to create a welcoming place where friends meet, families feel at home, neighbors become familiar faces and both locals and visitors feel part of the community.
