Paradise Promotions presents a three-day, indoor music festival at the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Convention Center Friday-Sunday, March 8-10. Seven classic bands will perform, featuring four national, touring tribute bands and three Northwest Florida local bands on the Florida Power and Light Stage.
Friday night’s headline band: 7 Bridges Eagles tribute that will make sure you “TAKE IT EASY.”
Saturday lineup: Two national touring tribute bands — Departure from Atlanta, Ga., with a tribute to Journey. Headlining is “STILL STANDING” with a tribute to Elton John.
Sunday: Jimmy Buffett and Beach Boys tribute bands.

Sinfonia Gulf Coast “redefines the symphony experience” once again with Classical Connections feat. Steven Banks, saxophone. This Southeast U.S. premier of Diaspora, described as “symphonic poems,” is Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Convention Center on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach.
Recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant and Sinfonia Gulf Coast’s Young Concert Artist prize, saxophonist Steven Banks pushes boundaries, expanding the instrument’s repertoire while showcasing its vast capabilities.
Hear this newly commissioned work for saxophone and orchestra by award-winning composer Billy Childs: Diaspora: Motherland, If We Must Die and And Still I Rise — three compelling pieces inspired by African American poems that chronicle the black American journey from mournful suppression to joyful empowerment. Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky’s riveting Pictures at an Exhibition, composed as a solo for piano in 1874, completes this compelling program.

Doggie EGGstravaganza March 29
Dog-Harmony presents the 9th Annual Doggie EGGstravaganza, a canine-only Easter egg hunt and doggie social, at Grand Boulevard at Sandestin’s Grand Park on Friday, March 29, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Hundreds of dogs and their “furrless” friends will trample the North Lawn while hunting for colorful treat-filled eggs and enjoying live music, libations and lite bites. Puppy-friendly treats will be hidden in over 800 colorful eggs scattered throughout the lawn with designated areas for pets over and under 25 pounds. Free to the public, with a $15 donation or $20 day of the event to participate in the egg hunt. All dogs must be leashed — no prong, choke or shock collars permitted. With more than 1,200 babies born prematurely in Walton and Okaloosa counties in the past three years, Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast is adding five new neonatal specialists to provide 24/7 coverage for sick and well newborns. The Annual Destin Charity Wine Auction Returns April 26-28
Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF) will present the 19th Annual Destin Charity Wine Auction April 26-28 to benefit children in need in Northwest Florida through the Foundation’s 17 partner children’s charities. In 2023, DCWAF donated $3.4 million to charity following one of its most successful auctions to date.
This year’s auction will feature an impressive line-up of celebrity chefs and vintners from throughout the world, hosted by philanthropic couples within the local community.
Patrons attending the Destin Charity Wine Auction presented by the Jumonville Family can expect a weekend filled with exclusive wines and excellent food from a variety of celebrity chefs beginning Friday, April 26 with the patron dinner experience. Each dinner features a nationally recognized chef paired with world-class vintners.
The Destin Charity Wine Auction is the main event of the weekend at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 held under an air-conditioned tent at Grand Boulevard Sandestin Town Center and will feature distinctive wines from internationally acclaimed vintners poured and paired with cuisine curated by a selection of the area’s top restaurants. The event culminates with a high-energy, live auction boasting rare and distinctive wines, spectacular trips and other incredible one-of-a-kind items.
