Ethan Bradley, a senior at Destin High School, has produced for his Boy Scout Eagle Scout Project three U.S. Flag Retirement Boxes, one for each of the Destin High, Middle and Elementary schools.
He and his fellow Boy Scouts of Troop 544 made the boxes under his supervision. The boxes are to be placed at each school for the collection of retiring old and worn U.S. flags from the community, so they may be respectfully collected and subsequently retired in an appropriate ceremony.
These boxes will be emptied by arrangement with the Scoutmaster, Boy Scout troop 544 in Fort Walton Beach, or by the American Legion Post in Destin.
