The 4th Destin Pooch Palooza will be held Sat. March 23, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Destin Dog Park (4100 Indian Bayou Trail). This festival is for dogs, their families and friends.
There will be vendor and non-profit dog rescuers booths, food, raffle, and a silent auction. Dog presentations, Okaloosa K9 Unit, and activities; such as a fun walk and treat trot will entertain the four- and two-legged visitors. There is no entry fee, but dog park donations are excepted. To benefit the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) animal shelter, attendees are asked to bring donations such as food, collars, leashes or cleaning supplies. PAWS is providing a vet van for dogs to get rabies shots for $5 and microchip for $10. For more information, please call Destin City Hall at 850-837-4242.
