Tickets are available for purchase at http://www.GlobalEffect.orgwww.GlobalEffect.org.

David Seering has been involved with Global Effect for a little over a year. “I learned about Global Effect’s mission and impact when they invited me to see the work they’re doing in the Dominican Republic,” said Seering. “I was impressed with their student scholarship program. The country’s youth can break the cycle of poverty simply by having the opportunity to get a college degree. I felt a calling to do even more to help their mission, that’s how this concert came to fruition.”

The Global Effect High Education Program has been serving students in the Dominican Republic since 2015. The program empowers the country’s impoverished youth to break the cycle of poverty by developing as a leader, earning a college degree, and giving back to their family and community. Since its inception, 84 students have completed the Global Effect Leadership Academy and earned the opportunity to be sponsored to attend college.

Seering says he usually takes a break from performing over Easter weekend, but “I feel compelled and blessed to serve. Easter is about resurrection and the youth of the Dominican Republic want to rise above their circumstances. There isn’t a more perfect weekend to be entertained at a spectacular concert while giving young people an opportunity for a better life.”

Recognized as one of the most versatile entertainers in America, David Seering’s ability takes him from behind the piano as a marvelous solo pianist and vocalist, to commanding a stage as a remarkable entertainer with a 16-piece orchestra as his back up. David’s career has taken him from being the lead vocalist for the United States Armed Forces Band to performing with such notable groups as the Tommy Newson and the Johnny Carson Tonight Show Band, USC Symphony Orchestra, Tulsa Pops Orchestra, The Lovell Ives Orchestra, as well as the Atlanta Pops Orchestra. David has performed by invitation for two US Presidents, Jimmy Carter, and Ronald Reagan, as well as Georgia Governor Joe Frank Harris, and Louisiana Governor Mike Foster. David’s Master of Ceremonies presentation is highly sought after. He has performed with entertainers such as BJ Thomas, Helen Ready, TG Shepard, Phyllis Diller, Mickey Rooney, Mickey Gilly, and the Great Cab Calloway just to name a few.
