If you are a new parent, thinking about being a parent or need some great information to assist you parenting and strengthening your marriage, the Community Church of Santa Rosa Beach and Redeemer Church 30A, invite you to Building Strong Families. Building Strong Families is a Parenting Workshop hosted by Redeemer 30A and the Santa Rosa Community Church and facilitated by Jack and Patty Wilcox. Jack and Patty are the founders of Family Harvest Ministries and the Harvest Community School of Jacksonville, Fl. They have many years of proven experience in building strong families and have a ministry speaking to various groups about marriage and family principles.
Scooter Ward, the Associate Pastor of Community Church, helped organize the event and is passionate about the subject. “Is it possible? “, he asks. “If we are honest, we all want to build a strong family, but the realities of life make actually doing it harder than we thought”, he said. Scooter believes “It takes a village” to build strong families. That’s why Redeemer 30A and Community Church have partnered together for this workshop. “We believe marriage and family are Divine institutions established by God. Our God is a god of relationships and we believe that the best way to maintain a strong family comes from incorporating Him into our lives. Jesus’ selfless example provides the blueprint for living and loving others—and it begins with our spouses and children”.
The Building Strong Families Parenting Workshop will be held on Friday, September 15th from 5:00pm till 8:30pm & Saturday, September 16th from 9:00am till 4:00pm at the Community Church of Santa Rosa Beach, located at 3524 US Hwy 98 on the Corner of Hwy 98 and Church Street in Santa Rosa Beach. On Friday, the workshop will begin with dinner at 5pm, followed by an evening session till 8:30. On Saturday lunch will be provided at 12:30pm.
Childcare will provided for children ages 6 month to 9 years old. Registration is $20 per family and can be paid at either Redeemer 30A or Community Church. There are limited spaces available so please pre-register for this event today bsf.srbcc.com.
