More than ever, booking with a travel specialist is the way to get where you want to go.

What do we want from a vacation? Relaxation, inspiration, adventure, meeting new people? I think the secret to the best vacations is coming home with wonderful memories made. Even though we don’t know exactly when cruising will start up again, it looks like it will be soon, and it will be safer and better than ever when it does. Pent up demand is real and cruise lovers are planning and booking now and so am I. I’m waiting to see if my next cruise scheduled for late November of this year will actually go, but if it doesn’t, I will just book another one.

The question now is, when will this be over and where in the world can I go now? Well, this much is certain; Americans are traveling. Many are journeying within their home states while others are venturing beyond their boarders in favor of something further afield. Whatever your pleasure, there is so much to do.

Two members of our staff just returned from a trip through Montana where Big Sky Dreams are made. Jason did some fly fishing on the Bitterroot River, drove through Louis and Clark’s old stomping grounds in Lolo, then on to Missoula, where the famous movie “ A River Runs Through It” was filmed. From Missoula, he headed down the Swan Valley towards Flathead Lake, Bigfork and Glacier Park. The wildfires though prevented him from driving through Glacier, so he had a little more time to visit family in Bigfork. Jason was raised in Montana.

After his trip through Big Sky Country, Jason headed south to Utah to meet up with his wife and their two children where they planned to tour some of southern Utah’s National Parks, which delivered in spades. They saw amazing canyons and rock formations while posing on the red monuments and hiking the desert sand trails. They also discovered most of the country is doing the same thing as RV’s and vehicles of all sizes were on the roads in abundance.

I thought I would leave some room for a few of their pictures. So, I am making this short. Our office will be adding to the traffic congestion again this month as we head for Savannah, Charleston and North Carolina. I will report on our adventure in my November article along with the latest in Cruise news. In the meantime, it’s time to think about where you want to go and how you want to get there.
