“Inspirational” speaker Greg Fritz will be the featured speaker at the next Iron Men’s Event at Destiny Worship Center, at 122 Poinciana Boulevard in Miramar Beach on Friday, May 19. The event will kick off with an outdoor “cook your own” bratwurst over an open fire pit in front of the church beginning at 5:30 PM. All food and drinks will be provided. The event will begin indoors at 7:00 PM.
Greg Fritz has been on the Evangelistic field since 1989. He has traveled over two million miles teaching and preaching God’s Word throughout the United States and abroad. His travels have included ministry in over 25 nations, and Greg Fritz Ministries has produced and distributed thousands of teaching cassettes and CD’s. With a strong emphasis on Faith and Revival, he ministers regularly in churches and bible schools, holding seminars, camp meetings, healing rallies, leadership conferences, and various outreaches overseas. Greg is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center and lives in Tulsa, OK with his wife Carol.

Men’s Pastor Josh Shilling explains that “Iron Men 318” is a biblical reference to Genesis 14:4, where Abraham gathers 318 of his best trained fighters and sets out to save his nephew Lot, who has been captured by the combined armies of four Mesopotamian kings. Against overwhelming odds, Abraham conquers the armies and rescues and brings home Lot. In this inspirational story, Lot represents the future generation.
Schilling says, “Iron Men believe it’s all about leaving a legacy and how God does more than just work through a man. God does multi-generational work through many generational lines. Iron Men 318 is about leaving behind what’s necessary for our children to continue what we are starting as men.” Admission is free, and many worthwhile activities are planned for all.
