And their abilities to filter impurities from my system.
I will love my spine and its erect confidence
And the gentle power
of my flexible muscles.
I will love my brain and the brilliant ideas living there.
I will love my heart
-OH I will love my heart!
I will love feeling my heartbeat in my chest
And I will love my chest, too.
Just as I will love my body parts individually,
I will graciously love them united as a whole.
I will love my actions,
Knowing they come from a
Place of compassion.
I will love all of the places I go.
I will love every soul I meet!
I will love so fiercely and so flamboyantly that
When I venture into the world,
I am always met with love in return.
The trees will love me, the bees will love me,
The stars, moon, and sun will love me.
The sky will open up and swaddle me
In its velvety blue love embrace.
I will love unconditionally for all to see
And I will love in the privacy
Of tonight’s home space
(Wherever that may be…)
