I’ve experienced this dinner and show at Old Florida Fish House, and let me tell you—it is an awesome night out! Amazing food, the music of Elton John and an evening that makes you want to sing along…what more could you ask for?

Still Standing: A Tribute to Elton John takes the restaurant’s main stage Nov. 8 and Dec. 6, with each performance running from 6:30 to 9 p.m. If you’re looking for a fun date night or an excuse to get your friends together, this is it!

My recommendation? Make it the full dinner-and-show experience. Dinner ticket holders receive preferred seating closer to the stage and should arrive at 5 p.m. Start with Gulf Coast she-crab soup or a red romaine Caesar salad, then choose from three delicious-sounding entrées: prawn risotto with roasted acorn squash, fava beans and citrus beurre blanc; herb-and-garlic-roasted tri-tip with dauphinoise potatoes and pink peppercorn cognac cream; or chicken Florentine with creamy Pernod spinach, saffron capellini and balsamic-glazed asparagus. And save room for dessert—Key lime pie and a black-and-white petit four! The menu is subject to change.

Coming for the show only? Plan to arrive between 6 and 6:30 p.m. If you’d like to enjoy dinner from the restaurant’s regular menu first, reserve a table between 4:30 and 5 p.m. so you have plenty of time before the music starts. Dining reservations are available through Resy.

I had such an amazing time, and I’m excited for you to experience it, too! Tickets are limited and nonrefundable, so visit oldfloridafishhouse.com to get yours before they’re gone. You’ll also find schedules for other upcoming events and more information—all in one place!
