Emerald Coast Entertainment Group will present the second annual Mayor’s Charity Gala from 5:30-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at Henderson Beach Resort in Destin.
The black-tie evening will bring together community leaders, businesses and supporters for cocktails, a plated dinner, live entertainment, a live auction, inspiring stories and community awards—all in support of Northwest Florida organizations.
Destin Mayor Bobby Wagner will deliver the opening welcome, with Bernard Johnson and Shane Moody co-hosting the evening. Destin City Councilman Dewey Destin will receive the Mayor Mike Anderson Award for his service and commitment to the community. Guest speaker Mark Wilson will be presented with the Community Appreciation Award.
Event proceeds will benefit Destin Parks Foundation, The Honor Foundation and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast.
