Destin has a new spot for fueling up with healthy energy, and the buzz is already building. Coastal Protein & Energy has opened at 501 Harbor Blvd., Suite F in Norred Plaza, offering a fresh lineup of clean energy teas, protein shakes, smoothies, waffles, and more.
Cali Hlavac, who officially took over the shop July 1, said she’s thrilled to bring this wellness-minded concept to the heart of the Harbor. “I was excited to purchase Coastal Protein & Energy to become a healthy staple in the community,” she said. “We are a great option for anyone who is health-focused or looking for alternative options for energy or getting enough protein.”
The shop is a sister store to Poppy’s Protein in Niceville and Dream Coast Nutrition in Fort Walton Beach, offering the same recipes and products that locals already love. Guests can enjoy energy teas made with tea concentrate, vitamins B and C and stevia—plus add-ins like aloe, collagen or protein. Protein shakes are crafted to be both delicious and healthy, with mostly sugar-free ingredients and under 250 calories each.
For those who need a morning or afternoon boost, the protein coffee packs a punch: 30 grams of protein, 160 milligrams of caffeine, and just 200 calories. “It’s a great way to get your energy without the mid-afternoon crash,” the owner added.
