Get ready to laissez les bons temps rouler! The Rotary Club of Destin’s Annual Cajun Crawfish Bash is back and bigger than ever on Friday, May 16, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at The Towne Centre at Seascape, co-hosted by Mezcal Mexican Grill.
This lively fundraiser supports the Destin Rotary Scholarship Fund, A Bed 4 Me, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast and Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation—helping to fight hunger, boost education and lift up families in need. Since 1979, the Rotary Club of Destin has been making a difference through charitable, educational and humanitarian projects.
“Our open-air venue captures the true spirit of Louisiana, and this event helps us fund initiatives close to our mission,” said Club President Wayne Bernheisel. “We’re committed to supporting education and eradicating hunger, right here at home.”
Enjoy mouthwatering Louisiana crawfish with all the fixings. Destin Rotary volunteers will dish up fresh crawfish from Louisiana with the traditional potatoes, sausage and corn on the cob. For those who don’t crave crawfish, there will also be juicy burgers, hot dogs and chicken prepared fresh on-site. Dance the night away with live music from the Jenna McClelland Band, bid in the silent auction, try your luck at the famous bourbon pull, enjoy spectacular magic from Magician: MagiShaun, a fun-filled photo booth from Events Photo Booth 360, and face painting for the kids—all to fuel the Rotary’s life-changing work!
Tickets are $40 for a flat of crawfish and fixings, $50 for All-You-Can-Eat and $15 for kids’ or non-crawfish meals (children three and under eat free). Each ticket includes a complimentary drink (beer, margarita, soda or water). VIP reserved tables for 10 are available for $500 and include regular crawfish meal tickets. (Upgrade to AYCE for an additional fee.)

The Rotary Club of Destin is a vibrant network of roughly 58 local leaders dedicated to “Service Above Self,” changing lives across the street and around the world. The club meets Tuesdays at 7:15 a.m. at Regatta Bay Golf & Country Club and hosts its “Sunset Club” Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. at O’Quigley’s in Destin.
