Davis-Sikes Post 296 American Legion hosted Korean War veterans on their Veteran’s Day. Vietnam POW Howard Hill emceed the event. He enthralled the attendees with stories of his time as a POW and his historical knowledge of the Korean War. Lovely pins were presented to each veteran. While these men were being honored, it was the legionnaires’ honor to be in their presence. If not for their service, the entire Asian continent would be communist today.
