Congratulations to local student Olin Wolfgram who made history recently at the Anne T. Mitchell awards held at Northwest Florida State College! He was both the Fort Walton Beach High School (FWBHS) student with the highest GPA ever recorded and the No. 1 student scholar in Okaloosa County earning him the prestigious Peggy Gorday Bruner Award for the class of 2022. Okaloosa County is ranked third school district in the state. “It’s really stunning and the fulfillment of Olin’s singular goal,” said his mother, Zandra Wolfgram. “He said he wanted to be valedictorian when he started as a freshman. He not only did it, but made history at FWBHS with a 4.82 GPA.”
If you were to review Olin’s awards through the years, you would not be surprised that he also recently received the 2021-2022 Emerald Coast Exchange Club Youth of the Year scholarship and will attend Stanford University to study engineering.
