Christ the King Hosts Classical Music Program
This year marks the third season of the popular series bringing quality classical music to Santa Rosa Beach. Dr. David Ott, conductor of the Panama City Pops and Director of Music at Christ the King Church, brings orchestra, chorus and soloists together for a spirited and inspiring assortment of concerts each season. The 2017-2018 season kicks off soon, so make plans to attend!
All concerts are held at 3 p.m. at Christ the King Episcopal Church, 480 N. County Highway 393 in Santa Rosa Beach. Concerts are free of charge. All are invited to enjoy this special musical outreach. Dates are as follows:
November 5, 2017 “Sacred Settings” featuring Kara Bishop, Soprano and Ben Clements, Bass-baritone.
December 3, 2017 “Magnificat” by David Ott featuring Katie Ott, Harp and David Ott Singers.
January 14, 2018 “From Ireland’s Shores” featuring Andra Bohnet, Flute and Tom Morley, Violin.
February 11, 2018 “Strings and Ivory” featuring Ben and Jihye Sung, Violin and Piano.
February 25, 2018 “Mystic of the ‘Miserere'” featuring David Ott Singers and Orchestra.
