The Merchants of SEASIDE invite you to join them for one of Seaside’s most exciting times of the year, Seaside Dance weekend, featuring guest artists from all around the world.
This year, the Seaside Dance Festival continues the tradition of bringing world-class talent from all over to Seaside to showcase the latest trends in dance as well as beloved classics. Artistic Director Davis Robertson returns with a group of professional dancers and guest artists to both demonstrate and perform choreographed works on the Seaside Amphitheater stage.
This exciting weekend, May 5-7, will feature dance performances by both local and national dance companies who will perform ballet, contemporary, tap, hip hop, and more. Slated to be electric, variety-packed and filled with power, artistry and pure excitement, performances will be enjoyed by the serious dance lover or those who simply enjoy performing arts entertainment.
This signature event is the result of perpetual success and overflowing audiences for past Seaside dance performances, and the brainchild of Seaside co-founder and patron of the arts, Daryl Davis. Davis was inspired to bring dance performers to Seaside to help cultivate more dance appreciation in South Walton communities as well as involve local dancers.
