Sandos Beachside Serves Up Sandwiches, Sips and a Laid-Back Vibe
Destin’s food scene just got a whole lot cooler with the opening of Sandos Beachside, a creative new hangout tucked away at 36 Terra Cotta Way. Built from repurposed shipping containers and bursting with waterfront atmosphere, this two-story eatery and fun-vibes bar is the brainchild of locals Shaun Cooper and Nic Ascenzo, who bring their beverage industry experience—and serious style—to the table.
Downstairs, Sandos Beachside Café serves up Onyx Coffee Lab brews and a bold lineup of sandwiches from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday – Sunday. Favorites include the “FUHGEDDABOUDIT,” piled high with Italian flavor, and “THE WEEKENDER,” perfect for when you’re in full vacation mode. Many creations come “Sandos Style,” layered with chips, parmesan, salt, pepper and their signature house-made Sandos Sauce.
Upstairs, the Nineteen33 Bar keeps the good vibes flowing from noon to 9 p.m. with a full menu of cocktails, beer and wine—all set in a relaxed, coastal-cool space made for lounging.
