Boost your sponsorship opportunities, promote and expose your services to contractors while benefiting homeless children in our area! Contractors Connect, the premier networking event for local contractors, will host its next meetup on Thursday, May 9 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at AJ’s on the Destin Harbor. Presented in partnership with the Building Industry Association of Okaloosa & Walton Counties, a professional organization of builders, developers, and associates, it’s $10 to attend and includes one free draft beer, light appetizers, and the opportunity to win in multiple giveaways.
Sponsored by Harris Insurance, the featured contractor for the May event is JP Carducci, Inc. Construction Services of Fort Walton Beach. JP Carducci, Inc. is a full-service construction company experienced in custom home building, kitchen and bathroom remodels and more.
The May meetup will benefit the Fort Walton Beach Women’s Club’s Project S3, an effort that aims to help homeless students by making them “safe, secure and successful.” There are currently more than one thousand students in Okaloosa County who qualify as homeless. The Fort Walton Beach Woman’s Club is collecting supplies and funds for students at four schools: Elliott Point Elementary School, Pryor Middle School, Shalimar Elementary School and Wright Elementary School. Please bring donations of deodorant, shampoo, soap, sanitary wipes, toothbrushes and/or toothpaste.
