The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF), a not-for-profit charitable arts organization founded in 1995 to be Northwest Florida’s champion of cultural arts and arts education for all, announces full line up and concert series kick-off. Purchase tickets at the gate, which opens at 6 p.m; the concert begins at 7 p.m. for this come-as-you-are family-friendly outdoor concert series. Attendees have the opportunity to enter a live raffle drawing to win prize packages during intermission, and event profits help fund the Foundation’s Community Outreach programs, serving those who lack access to the arts in our community.
Concert goers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, picnic and wine or purchase food and beverages on site prepared by a featured restaurant or food trucks. Admission is $15 for adults; children (12 and under) and MKAF members are free. Those interested in becoming a MKAF member can learn more at https://www.mattiekellyartsfoundation.org/membership.html. Children 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All sales are final, sorry, no refunds. Pets, tables larger than two feet and drones are not permitted.
“One of my very favorite traditions in Destin is for my family, friends and the business community to come together at the Concerts in the Village! Over four generations of families unite together on Thursday evenings to sit back, relax under the stars and dance to a variety of music suitable for all ages. What better way to end the work day but with some culture,” says Marcia Hull, CEO of the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation.
A limited number of VIP tables (provides reserved table and seating with admission for up to eight guests) are available. Please contact MKAF at 850-650-2226 for details.
