IMMANUEL ANGLICAN CHURCH WELCOMES NEW PRIEST

Immanuel Anglican Church is pleased to announce that Fr. Rob Cornelison is now leading their Destin flock. He is the seventh resident priest since the church’s inception in 1928.

Rob Cornelison has spent 30 years in ministry serving in a number of Anglican Churches, Diocesean Staff (Canon of Global Missions), United Methodist Churches, Police & Fire Chaplaincy, and has served several parachurch organizations in ministry leadership roles.

He is passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and offering hope and healing in Jesus’ name. Rob also serves as the Director of Field Operations for Ekklesia Society where he developed and released a trauma healing program that is informed by the latest neuroscience and based in inner-healing prayer that has directly impacted 30,000+ people in Uganda, Dominican Republic of Congo, and the Dominican Republic.

Fr. Rob was ordained as an Anglican Priest in December 2014. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Seattle Pacific University in Christian Education, a M.Div. (Master of Divinity) and D.Min. (Doctor of Ministry) from United Theological Seminary.

Rob most recently served as Senior Pastor/Rector at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in South Haven, Michigan near Grand Rapids. Together, Rob and his wife, Wendy, have seven adult children and one grandchild. He enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, the beach and coffee.

They are excited about serving the Destin community, working with the cross-denominational Church of Destin and enjoying the beautiful Emerald Coast.

Immanuel’s Sunday worship service is held at 10:15 a.m. and they would love to worship with you! The Holy Eucharist is offered every Sunday and is open to all baptized followers of Jesus. Immanuel is located at 250 Indian Bayou Trail, Destin, Florida, just northwest of the Destin dog park.
