Start the holiday season with a special sparkling event during Baytowne’s 5th Annual Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights, Saturday, November 18th. This sparkling event will feature more than 30 champagnes and delicious appetizers at featured Village restaurants. Guests can enjoy the sounds of the season with live music, and a sneak peek of our first tree lighting of the season! Tickets are on sale for only $40 per person, and then $50 for the day of sales, and come with a commemorative glass. This special event is part of a series associated with the Sandestin Wine Festival, a treasured tradition for 32 years.
And it’s time to dust off those skates and get in the winter spirit at The Village of Baytowne Wharf’s Baytowne on Ice. For those visitors who miss the cold and ice, the seasonal ice rink is the perfect opportunity to share some of your favorites holiday traditions. The Community Broadcasters Ice Skating Pavilion is a 40ft by 60ft ice rink enclosed in a tent at the event plaza of the Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin. Operating hours vary per day, with extended hours on the weekends.
Baytowne On Ice is offering season passes at $165 for the entire season. Or, guests can skate for an hour and a half, with ice skate rentals included, for $14.
Baytowne on Ice is made possible through partnerships with area businesses, including Community Broadcasters, Q92, Hwy 98, The Blaze, Wave 102, Ace Hardware, Creative Repairs, and the merchants at The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Then, on Friday, November 24th, they will feature the holiday classic, The Polar Express. Watch the magical and adventurous train ride to the North Pole at 6pm on the Events Plaza Lawn. Then, on Saturday, November 25th, join other good little boys and girls as they welcome the arrival of Santa Claus! Santa will parade around the streets of Baytowne Wharf, and officially light our 30ft Christmas tree. Holiday tunes from local brass musicians will continue from 6-9pm as Baytowne hosts face painting and other family friendly activities. Santa Claus will stick around to hear Christmas wishes and take photos. Baytowne Wharf will also kick off the first 12 Nights of Lights show, which incorporates choreographed lights and decorations with popular holiday songs. Saturday night festivities will also include a spectacular firework display. Both nights are free to the public!
