Bay Baits Hosts Family Fishing Tournament Nov. 4th

Bay Baits is excited to announce the Bay Baits Benefit- A Family Fishing Tournament and Party! This event, taking place on November 4th, is a family fishing tournament, grand opening celebration, and fundraiser all in one. Proceeds from the event will benefit Food For Thought Outreach and The Sonder Project. There will be music from the Graytones, beverages from Grayton Beer Company, food from Grayton Beach Catering, college football, and an all around good time!

“We are excited to host a family friendly fishing tournament to support our friends at Food for Thought and The Sonder Project. They both do an exceptional job giving to those in need and we are grateful to have them in our community,” says Jacob Watkins of Bay Baits. To register for the fishing tournament visit www.baybaits.com. Registration is $25.00 and includes entry into the after party, a goody bag, food, drinks, and fun! There are two entry categories- Adult and Child- four fish categories- redfish, catfish, trout, and flounder. The first place winner in each category will receive a $250.00 gift card to Bay Baits, the second place winner in each category will receive a $100.00 gift card to Bay Baits. Hooks in the water no earlier than 7:00am, weigh in begins at 4:00pm, awards at 6:00pm, party until 8:00pm. The party is also open to the supporters and friends of Bay Baits who do not participate in the fishing tournament. Donations accepted for food and drinks. All proceeds go to the benefiting charities. Bay Baits opened in May and exists to provide you with the full fishing experience. “We are eager for locals to learn about our new store. Bay Baits offers everything needed, advice included, for families to get outside and enjoy fishing in Walton County,” said Phillip Poundstone of Bay Baits.
