Whether you are sailing on a ship or in a motorhome rolling down the highway, you can cruise into your own adventure this year and beyond. Spring is here and we are all ready to get up and go. I have never been so excited for spring and not just because March in Destin is so much better than March in Montana.

Herd immunity and vaccines are opening the doors, so it’s time to start planning, decide where and when we want to go and get out the suitcases. Remember, you have nothing to lose with great rates, additional incentives, reduced deposits, new flexible cancellation policies and improved insurance options.

The year 2020 taught us that even the most romantic and perfect relationships can become rocky after a year of not just staying home but working from home, with endless zoom calls that seem to alert the dog it is time to start barking or the kids to start fighting or your significant other to be louder than usual.

Earnest Hemingway was rumored to have said, “Never go on a trip with anyone you do not love,” and perhaps it can now be said as the pandemic lingers into 2021, “Never stay home too long with anyone you do love.”

A U.S. Travel Association survey confirmed that travel sparks romance among couples of all ages and elevates joy and happiness in family relationships and friendships. So, whether it’s a romantic couple’s trip, a multi-generational family vacation or just a friend’s weekend getaway, travel is essential to our wellbeing. Have Travel Memories has been working hard to plan amazing trips for you. The most recent addition to our hosted tours is an all-inclusive 10-day Classic Holy Land Tour departing March 1, 2022. This trip includes round trip airfare from New York and all for $3,548.

Here is just a sampling of this tour’s itinerary. We will visit Nazareth and the boyhood home of Jesus. In Cana we will see the Franciscan wedding chapel that was the site of Christ’s first miracle. Sail on the Sea of Galilee or visit Capernaum. You might want to take a dip in the mineral-laden waters of the Dead Sea or ascend by cable car to Masada, Herod’s legendary mountain top fortress and look down on the remains of the Roman camps and the siege ramp below. We will visit Magdala, once home to Mary Magdalene as well as the Garden of Gethsemane.

Look for our video podcast on YouTube this month with guest host Elissa, as she tells us all about her travels to Israel. Throughout this year, I will have webinars, presentations and more podcasts for you to enjoy as we explore more about Israel and the world of travel.
