It took a little magic, but after five days visiting Florida’s Emerald Coast as part of the Mattie Kelly ArtsReach program, Kevin Spencer has left a lasting mark for so many. The master magician and illusionist visited a number of local schools and nonprofit organizations in April with the highlight of the tour at the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation “Hocus Focus: Spotlight on Education” Lunch hosted at the new Hotel Effie. Proceeds from all MKAF events benefit the organization and its outreach and community engagement initiatives throughout Northwest Florida.

ArtsReach is a creatively curated array of performing and visual arts inspiring K-12 students, children and adults with special needs, and the military community along the Emerald Coast. Teaming up with community partners, ArtsReach produces dynamic learning opportunities through the arts.

Kevin Spencer has dedicated his life to making a difference in communities around the world – both on and off the stage. He is a pioneer who addresses the inequality of individuals with disabilities with creativity, confidence and courage.
